Workshop 925 based at The Mayford Centre, just outside of Woking and very close to Guildford.
Unit F9 The Mayford Centre,

Surrey
GU22 0PP
WHAT DOES THE DAY INVOLVE?
During this day workshop you will be shown the techniques to create your very own bezel set pendant. You will learn to set a cabochon stone (stones with a curved top and completely flat base). This is an excellent introduction to stone setting for those who have always wished to learn to set stones. For those with some experience, you can create a more detailed pendant which explores textures and more advanced design techniques.
We will have some stones available to choose at the workshop, however feel free to bring along any stones you may wish to set. Time and materials allow you to create one pendant. Some stones might not be suitable due to size or shape, so please be aware if you do bring along your own stones, it might not be suitable for the setting technique but we will advise you on the day. Stones shouldn't be smaller than 8-10mm for those new to setting as they can be hard to work with and is it harder to see the processes involved in setting.
