Silver Rings & Handmade Chocolate Truffles: A Creative Crafting Experience Saturday 6th September 10-2.30pm

Immerse yourself in a unique creative experience with our Chocolate Truffles and Silver Ring Making courses, hosted by Workshop 925 Jewellery School and The Chocolate School. 

This collaborative creative day offers a delightful combination of chocolate-making and jewellery making, perfect for anyone looking to explore their creative side.

WHAT DOES THE DAY INVOLVE?

The day will run in two halves, session one running 10-12pm and session two running from 12.30 to 2.30pm allowing a 30 minute lunch break. 

The Chocolate School: Chocolate Truffle Making:

During this 2 hour session, you’ll work with expert chocolatiers to craft delicious, professional chocolate truffles, learning the techniques needed to create beautiful, mouth-watering treats.

In this deliciously creative session, you’ll dive into the world of chocolate making. The session starts with a guided tasting of different chocolate varieties, where you will learn about the journey from cocoa bean to finished chocolate.

Next, you’ll master the art of tempering chocolate, ensuring that it reaches the perfect
consistency for crafting your own chocolates. After that, it’s time to get hands-on!

You’ll roll your own truffles by hand, dip them into the smooth, tempered chocolate, and coat them with a variety of mouth-watering, colourful toppings.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! You’ll also have the opportunity to use the remaining
chocolate to create a large, decorative chocolate button, which will be adorned with tasty toppings and broken into beautiful shards.

Finally, you’ll package your delicious creations, ready to take home and enjoy – or share with loved ones!

Workshop 925: Silver Ring Making:

In this two hour session, you’ll design and make two stunning silver rings, guided by skilled jewellery makers in a hands-on, step-by-step process.

You will start by learning how to accurately measure your finger size to ensure a
perfect fit. Then, with expert guidance, you will dive into the art of working with
silver—mastering essential techniques such as soldering, forming the metal, and shaping your rings.

The session also includes exploring multiple techniques to apply textures and patterns to your rings, giving you the creative freedom to craft truly unique designs.

By the end of the day, you’ll leave with two beautiful, handmade silver rings that you can be proud to wear or gift.

Both classes take place in the well-equipped, welcoming spaces at The Mayford Centre, nestled within Mayford Village (between Guildford and Woking, Surrey) where you’ll receive expert guidance from our friendly tutors. 

Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, these courses provide everything you need to create two amazing projects in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Each class runs for 2 hours, with a 30 minute lunch break factored in to enjoy lunch in between. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Suitable for Beginners: Both the chocolate truffle making and silver ring crafting
  classes are designed for complete beginners, so no prior experience is necessary.
• All Materials Provided: We supply everything you need for the day – all equipment and materials are included, so just bring your enthusiasm!

CLASS SIZE:

We accommodate a group of up to 7 participants per class to ensure personal
attention and a hands-on experience.
