WHAT DOES THE DAY INVOLVE?

Amy will take you through a fun filled day of making your very own silver earrings and pendants. She will provide demonstrations on a variety of different techniques to add textures to your silver such as the rolling mill, texture hammers, the hydraulic press and punches. You will also learn how to pierce (cut) and solder the silver and form it into shape. You will learn a wide range of jewellery making skills through the day to create your own handmade jewellery designs.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

None, all abilities are welcomed. We support you throughout the session and provide demonstrations to show you the techniques and steps needed to create your own designs from start to finish. If you have some experience you can develop your skills further using more advanced techniques to create your pieces. The welcoming workshop environment makes it ideal for beginners also.
