WHAT DOES THE DAY INVOLVE?

Join Amy Hubbard on this day workshop to learn the skills of professional level stringing, knotting and threading. You will learn the skills required to be able to re-string pearls and beads which can also be combined with any silver pendants or links you may wish to bring along.

Adding beads to your designs can set off a silver pendant off beautifully and add to the design. As you learn the process of stringing, you can then branch into stringing gorgeous cut beads such as tourmalines and tanzanites to create some really effective contemporary silver designs.

Over the day you will string a simple un-knotted necklace, and also create a knotted bracelet to learn the techniques of knotting. You will also discuss the tools required.

The course includes materials - pearls and semi precious beads, connections, clasps and threading materials. We have more beads you are able to purchase on the day and you are more than welcome to bring your own along to work with too. We will advise you on suitability on the day. Do not forget your silver pendant designs if you wish to en-corporate them within your work.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

This class is suitable for those with any level of experience. We run a very welcoming and supportive environment, so whatever level your skills are at, you will always feel encouraged and supported by all to develop your ability further.
